PREAMBLE

We, the African community at St. Joseph’s church Abu Dhabi inspired by a common determination to promote unity and cooperation, shoulder the responsibility of development and cultural identity in response to the aspiration of African brethren at the St. Joseph’s church in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. As a community aimed at strengthening ourselves, we share occasions of joy such as births and marriages and stressful situations such as illnesses, accidents and deaths through visits to each other. We also organize retreats to nurture ourselves spiritually.


AIMS & OBJECTIVES
We are a Christian non-profitable, non-political organization that shall be democratic in structure and organized under the law of the Emirates in keeping with the organizations articles of incorporation.

It’s objectives are:

• To nuture each other spiritually
• To help members get to know one another
• Promote the welfare of the members
• Preserve and promote African Heritage and culture
• Educate ourselves and the public about our culture.
