Announcement on Ash Wednesday

SPRINKLING OF ASHES DURING THE PANDEMIC
After the blessing of ashes, the priest will say the formula  “Repent and believe in the gospel” once to all present. After that, he will simply sprinkle the ashes on the top of the head without touching the head.

ASHES FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN CHURCH SERVICES
Those who are interested may take home a small amount of blessed ashes for their loved ones who cannot participate in the church. For this, please bring your  own small container or an envelope into which we will place some ashes after each service.
