Rev. Fr. Chito Bartolo, the Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Abu Dhabi.
FR. CHITO BUNDA BARTOLO, OFM Cap. was born in Poblacion, Norala, South Cotabato, Philippines; in the year 1970, on December 8th, the feast day of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary as belonging to the Immaculate Conception Parish in the diocese of Marbel.
God has blessed him and bestowed on him His special call to serve Him and his people. He steadily grew up in his vocation; joined Capuchin seminary and had his philosophical and theological studies in St. Lawrence of Brindisi House of Studies Tagaytay City and got ordained on the 30th of November 2001.
He was appointed Parish Priest to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, Quezon City, Philippines until he took charge as Assistant Priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Dubai, UAE.
Bishop Paul has appointed him as Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Abu Dhabi. He was installed in the assigned position on the 27th of August 2021. We wish him every success in his ministries and may God bless him and through him the Cathedral Parish of St. Joseph.
